More lover boys; stormy night on the island …

Hi, friends and readers:

I really like the photo I’ve posted here this morning. The guys are sexy, the photography’s unique, and it looks like a genuinely private moment between lovers. The guy on the bottom looks like he’s been crying, or maybe he’s just sleepy.

A huge storm roared in off the Gulf last night, just after I returned to the island from having dinner in town with friends. We had lots of wind, then one rain band after the next pounded my roof for hours. I was a bit worried we might have flooding because the tide was abnormally high in the Intracoastal Waterway, which is only sixty feet from my front door. But the water stayed on the other side of the seawall, and all is well this morning. The sun just came out and it looks like it’ll be a beautiful day.

I’ll work on my Cassadaga story this morning, then it’s time to write notes in Christmas cards and address the envelopes, something I always enjoy. It gets me in the holiday spirit, and brings to mind friends and loved ones.

Have a fine Thursday, everyone.
