Hi, friends and readers:
Today’s one of the slowest days this blog’s experienced in weeks. I guess everyone’s out Christmas shopping. Not me, though. I give people money and let them buy whatever they truly want, rather than giving them something they’ll return or stick in a closet. Or, I’ll take them out for a nice meal at a restaurant.
To me, anyway, Christmas isn’t about giving one another gifts; it’s about sharing time with loved ones, enjoying good food and drink and listening to Christmas music.
Do you like the photo I’ve posted here this evening? I sure do. Some young men look spectacular when they are wet and shirtless. I he was my boyfriend, I’d hose him down often. Wouldn’t you?
Well, I got all my yard work done, and now it’s time for a beer. A huge bank of fog rolled over the island about an hour ago, brought on by the warm air temperature and the Gulf’s cold water. The fog’s spooky looking, but I kind of like it. Reminds my of a few vampire and werewolf movies I have seen.
I hope all my friends and readers up in the frozen north are staying warm. I understand it’s pretty chilly up there. I’m running my air conditioning, believe it or not. It’s about 83 degrees F outside.
Okay, have a nice Sunday evening, all.
