Stormy night, beautiful day, beautiful guy …

Hi, friends and readers:

Since it’s wintertime I thought everyone would enjoy the photo I’ve posted here this morning. What an unusual hat. What a beautiful guy.

I never made it to the party last night. Around seven PM a major thunderstrom struck. The rain was pounding my roof for hours and it would not have been safe to drive in such conditions. So, my friend and I shared two bottles of wine and listened the the Beatles’ White Album. It was recorded in 1968. It’s a double album (if you buy it on vinyl) and considered one of their best. If you’ve never listened to it, you should give it a try.

I received a nice comment from a reader, Arlene, who lives in central Florida. She just finished reading Love Quest and she wrote to tell me how much she enjoyed the story and the characters. She says many women enjoy reading male/male romance stories because the men in traditional, male/female romance stories tend to be “Alpha” and insensitive. I found that interesting.

Thanks for writing, Arelene.

It’s beautiful here on the island today — sunny, no wind, with a temperature around 75 degrees F. I’ll work on my writing a while, I guess. And I’m looking forward to my afternoon run, for sure.

Enjoy your Sunday, all.
