Some guys look great in Speedos, don’t they? Like the guy in the photo I’ve posted here this morning. He can join my swim team any day.
Last night I attended the first evening of music at our island’s music festival. The streets were blocked off from traffic and full of people of all ages: grandmas to toddlers. The weather was perfect: warm and breezy. Vendors sold food, beer and wine. People brought their folding chairs and listened to live music, a nice mix of rock, jazz and pop performed by a variety of bands. I had a great time, just watching the crowd and saying hi to friends and neighbors. I would guess 2,000 people were there. Sunset at eight PM was beautiful.
Today I’m having friends over for dinner and we’ll visit the festival, where the Tampa Bay Orchestra will play. Again, all sorts of food and drink will be available for purchase, and the weather will be perfect once again. I’m so lucky to live here.
I received a nice comment from a reader named Janice who lives in Great Britain. She’d just finished reading my book, Love Quest, and she wrote to say, “While I found the sex scenes in Love Quest arousing, what I liked most about the book was the depth of emotion in your character, Jamie Bliss. I felt so sorry for him in the beginning of the story, but by the end I was cheering his victory over the difficulties life thrust at him.”
Thanks, Janice. If anyone’s interested in buying a copy of Love Quest, here’s the link to the Noble Romance Publishing website:
Enjoy your Saturday, everyone.
