Okay, I made the trip to Florida’s East Coast this afternoon, surfboard on my roof rack. Traffic wasn’t bad, considering I had to pass through downtown Tampa and the Disney area of Orlando. Sadly, when I arrived in Cocoa Beach it was low tide and there was no surf. It’s okay, it is beautiful here tonight: warm and breezy. I took a run along the ocean road, gulping briny air, enjoying the sunshine. Now I’ve showered and walked to The Pier to see it in the sunset’s glow, always a beautiful sight.
The photo I’ve posted here reminds me of one of my stories, Sebastian Inlet. The story appears in a short story anthology, Sufer Boys. My story takes place right here, in Brevard County. If you’d like to read it, here’s where you can buy the book.
Most every story in the anthology is well written and steamy, and I’m not saying so because I’ll earn money if you buy the book, I won’t. I was paid a flat fee for my story. But if you like m/m erotic romance, you’ll like Surfer Boys.
I’m off to buy Chinese takeout for dinner. Hopefully we’ll have waves at sunrise tomorrow. I’ll be out there if we do.
Enjoy your Thursday night, everyone.
