Some guys look great in skimpy briefs. Know what I mean? Like the guy in today’s photo post. I like the red satin sheets, too.
It’s another nice day here in west central Florida: breezy, sunny and warm. I’ll work on my Jaco Beach novella this morning, then visit the YMCA with my boyfriend this afternoon.
This evening I’m hosting four of my best friends for drinks, sunset and dinner. I’ve known three of these guys since I was a kid, and the fourth was one of my grad school roommates at FSU. It’ll be a fun evening, with lots of laughs.
Last night I received an interesting comment from a gay skateboarder named Tyler, age eighteen. He lives in Texas. He said:
“I bought a copy of the Skater Boys book you talked about in one of your posts. I’ve read all the stories in it and I think the dudes who wrote the stories knew the skater world pretty well. I really liked your story, Carter DuBose. Carter reminded me of myself. You know, skaters have a reputation for being stupid and smelling bad and getting into trouble, but it’s not true. I know a lot of skaters who are smart and are very nice guys. I’ve never been in trouble with the law in my life.
“I’ve followed your blog for about a year and a half, ever since you started posting comments from gay skateboarders. There are not many places on the Internet addressing the subject of gay dudes skating. Please keep it up. And I hope you’ll write another story about gay skaters one day.”
Thanks for writing, Tyler.
Okay, I have work to do. Wherever you are, have a great Wednesday, all.
