I have a guest room in my place. It’s small, but the bed’s comfortable, and three walls have windows facing the Intracoastal Waterway. My guests never complain about lack of space.
Tonight’s photo post could’ve been taken in that room. It’s so bright and sunny and the Venetian blinds keep things private. It’s a great spot to make love. (My boyfriend knows that all too well …)
It’s been a long day. We were up at 5:30 AM in Berlin. I bought fresh rolls down at the corner and brewed coffee. We had a final breakfast with our host, then it was off to Tegel Airport. Our flight left an hour late, which caused me some concern because my connecting flight to Florida only gave me a 55-minute layover in Newark. But the Transatlantic flight was a breeze. (8-1/2 hours.) We read books, watched movies and worked crossword puzzles. The time flew by. Once in Newark we went through Immigration and Customs (also a breeze) and then we parted ways. (Boo-hoo …) I barely made my Florida flight, but it all went okay, and my good friend picked me up right on time.
Now, I’m home on my little island and a nice breeze is blowing. I’m dog tired, but feeling good. My boyfriend called me and told me he’d made it to Minneapolis safely. I’m drinking a glass of wine and doing a bit of snacking. The bed will be calling soon, as I am majorly lagged. I had a great time in Berlin, but it’s nice to be home.
I hope everyone’s having a nice Wednesday evening.
