Hi, friends and readers:
I’m not one to flaunt my patriotism, but, hey: Have you ever seen such a cute flag-bearer. He could stand in my front yard seven days a week and wave his banner if he wanted to. Yummy!
I ended up sleeping in late this morning; I was tired, But I’m up and feeling good, and at 10:00 AM I’ve already had close to 1,000 visitors to the blog today.
This is a very special day for me, as I’m picking up my boyfriend at Tampa’s airport early this evening. It’s been seven weeks since he moved to Minnesota to work there during the summer months. Of course, we saw each other in Berlin and in Maine, but it’s not the same as living together. I can’t wait to see him; he’ll be here ten days, so we’ll have plenty of time to do the things we enjoy most.
I’ll work on my writing this morning; then run a few errands this afternoon. With my knee being what it is, I can’t run, but maybe I’ll swim a quarter-mile in the Gulf this afternoon if there are no thunderstorms going off.
Wherever you are this Saturday morning, I hope the sun is shining and you’re having a nice time.
