Hi, friends and readers:
What do you think of tonight’s photo post? Oh, I know he’s cute and nicely built but is he stifling a laugh, or is he getting ready to blow a kiss at the photographer? Anyway, I like his bracelet, too.
It’s been a busy day: early morning walk on the beach, writing the rest of the morning, shopping for bed linens for our guest room, then visiting my lawyer and getting my MRI done. Whew! Now, I’m home and drinking a cold beer, getting ready for a lazy evening.
I’m not sure what we’ll do with our evening. My boyfriend’s cooking dinner at the moment, and we’ll share a bottle of wine before we dine. It’s very warm and humid outside, like a steam bath, and I doubt it’ll improve as the evening progresses. But maybe we’ll take a walk later on. Maybe we’ll visit the neighborhood bar and shoot a couple of games of pool. (Which I will certainly lose.)
I received a couple of nice comments from folks who’ve read my new anthology, Flawed Boys. Both had positive things to say. One guy named Rex said, “I like the way none of your characters are perfect, physically or mentally. It’s such a nice change from the usual “romance” mush, where everyone’s sane and beautiful. Keep it up, Martin.”
Will do, Rex. I’ll keep writing if you’ll keep reading.
Have a nice Tuesday night, everyone.
