Some guys were made to wear boardshorts and nothing else. (Okay, flip-flops are an okay accessory, but that’s it.) Do you like this morning’s photo post as much as I do? He’s cute, isn’t he? And he obviously enjoys flaunting his beauty. Hey, why not?
I’m up later than usual, after a night of football and baseball, beer/wine and barbequed ribs. The food was great. The football and baseball games were … okay. The Gators got trounced and the Tampa Bay Rays lost, but the Wisconsin Badgers beat Nebraska, so all was not lost. The ribs I grilled turned out fantastic; I’ll keep that marinade recipe for future use.
It’s beautiful outside this morning — sunny and dry, with a light breeze. Our mermaid thermometer on the back porch says it’s 75 degrees right now. Perfect! I’ll work on Dodging a Pearl this morning. This afternoon, at 4 PM, the Green Bay Packers play Denver. My boyfriend’s a Packer fanatic, so we’ll be glued to the tube for a few hours. Somewhere in there, we’ll take a walk on the beach. I love fall weather; it’s time to get outdoors and enjoy it.
I received more comments yesterday about the excerpt I posted from my story, Daddy Lover. As before, the comments were both positive and negative. That story has always stirred up controversy, ever since it was published in 2009. I know Bradley’s a peculiar guy, but I like him just the same. I make no apologies for his actions.
Have a nice Sunday, everyone.
