Cute guy in a blue shirt; lasagna night on the island …

Hi, friends and readers:

Okay, I’m a fan of brown-eyed guys; it’s a preference. But I know many of you out there have a passion for blue-eyed, blond lads. So, tonight’s photo post is for you. He’s cute, isn’t he? And I like the expression on his face. He looks like he’s ready to have some fun with his boyfriend.

It’s been a good day. I got a lot of work done on Dodging a Pearl, my new novel. My workout at the YMCA was superb; I even had my own lap lane in the pool. (Who could ask for more?) Afterward, we bought dry ice for the cooler we’ll take to the Bahamas. Then we hit the supermarket for dinner supplies tonight. My boyfriend’s in the kitchen right now, preparing homemade lasagna, using a recipe I’ve had for over twenty years. Boy, does it smell good in there.

All the preparations for our trip have been made. The house, flight and boat are all lined up. I can’t wait. Elbow Cay’s such a beautiful place. Sadly, I won’t be posting while we are gone. Although there’s Internet available, we’re already maxed out on luggage and carry-ons, with our dive equipment and all. You’ll have to survive without me, readers.

Tonight we’ll watch sports — the Rays and the Bucs are both on TV. But somewhere in there, we’ll pay a visit to the beach to watch sunset. It’s beautiful here tonight — dry, cool and breezy. Perfect fall weather.

Wherever you may be, readers, I hope you’re enjoying your Monday evening.
