Aside from New York City, I’ve never encountered many street performers in the Unites States; I’m not sure why. The practice is quite common in most European cities I’ve visited, especially in Berlin.
The photo at left was taken by my friend, Sinal, who has a very nice blog featuring galleries of his photographs. He finds the most amazing young men to take pictures of, like the cute guy at left. You can find a link to Sinal’s blog in my blogroll, in the sidebar to the right. Pay him a visit, why don’t you.
Today’s a big day for my and my boyfriend. We will depart this morning for West Palm Beach, where we’ll catch a flight to the Abacos, a string of island in the Bahamas. We’ve rented a house and a boat. We’re taking snorkeling and spearing equipment, and we’ll spend a week savoring the beauties of Man-O-War Cay and Elbow Cay. The area has many coral reefs and plenty of fish. The water is crystal clear; you can see to the bottom in forty feet of water.
I won’t have my laptop or Internet access, so this will be the last you hear from me for a week. Can you survive without me, readers? If you need a fresh Delacroix fix, visit my archives from 2009 or 2010. There are many nice photos and my always-interesting discussions of my exciting life as a fiction author.
Have a great Wednesday, all.
