I’m not a huge fan of professionally posed photographs, even when the guys in them are hot. I like photos like the one at left. When I saw it, I thought, “Yeah, I like it — the lighting, the expression on the young man’s face, and the blue car.”
So, here you are, readers ….
I was up early this morning. I hit the road on my bike about 7:30, took a 16.5-mile ride around the island. Fall has finally arrived here; the temperature was about 72 degrees F and a nice little breeze blew out of the north. It made my bike ride so much more pleasant. I love fall in central Florida.
The neighborhood party we attended last night was really nice. Everyone brought food and drink and we all watched sunset together. My boyfriend and I drank a nice bottle of Bordeaux, then friends gave us each a hefty margarita. Woo-hoo! We were in bed by ten PM because my boyfriend had to be at work this morning at seven AM. (Ugh …)
I’ll do edits on my novel, Dodging a Pearl, this morning. This afternoon, there are yard work and other necessary chores to do. I’ll barbeque pork chops on the charcoal grille this evening, matched up with Cajun dirty rice and a salad. Yummy! Maybe tonight we’ll go out to our local gay club for a bit of dancing?
I’m experiencing heavy traffic on the blog this morning. Already, over 1,000 people have stopped by, and it’s only 10:30 AM. What a nice way to be welcomed back to Florida from my trip to the Bahamas. Thanks to everyone who visited. The photo I posted last night, of the two guys in bed, has been a big hit with readers. I wonder why?
Wherever you are, my friends, I hope you’re having a nice Saturday.
