A while back (09/18/11) I posted a photo of a young man seated next to a waterfall. He’s the same guy appearing in tonight’s photo post. I don’t know his name or who the photographer is. But the two make beautiful photos together, don’t they?
It’s been a peaceful day today. After my boyfriend left for work, I ran errands: gas station, booze market, florist and bank. Not exciting stuff, but necessary. Afterward, I took a 2-1/2 mile run on the island. It was great. A breeze blew out of the north, but not too hard. My right knee felt fine afterward. It’s nice to be able to run again.
I received a few nice comments about the remarks I posted yesterday from Blake, the gay surfer from Southern California. Yeah, I like Blake’s attitude, and I’m happy he’s found a fellow surfer who’s also gay. Do you think romance will blossom between them?
It always makes me feel good when I hear from a young gay man who says this blog has made his life a little easier. I get angry when I realize just how many young gay guys lead such lonely and sometimes frightened existences. If only all of them could connect with someone like Blake has.
I’m taking it easy tonight. Right now, I’m watching the Gator vs. Georgia football game. The Gators are ahead, but it’s close. I’m not sure what I’ll do with the rest of my evening. I’ll likely watch sunset, followed by dinner and a movie on cable. Nothing too exciting, but I’m fine with it.
Wherever you are tonight, I hope you’re enjoying your Saturday.
