Does everyone like this morning’s photo post? I sure do. What an amazing body. Why can’t I look like that?
Okay, lets talk about abdominal muscles for a minute. All men have them. They are necessary for proper thrusting during intercourse. All men have them, but unless a guy has no body fat, you don’t see his abs.
Most guys over 23 have invisible abs, unless they diet and exercise like crazy, and don’t drink beer. I remember when my abs vanished. It was my second year of law school. I gained about eight pounds in a single month. My jeans with thirty-inch waists didn’t fit me any more. Bye-bye abs.
Oh, well ….
For the next several days, I’ll post photos of guys with amazing abs. If you have any photos you’d like to share, please send them to me. I may put them up, as well. Then we’ll have a little survey on which guy’s abs are the most amazing. Sounds like fun, doesn’t it?
The film we watched last night, The History Boys, was a joy to experience, for a second time. You know how it is: the second time you see a film, you catch thing you missed on the first go-around. The acting in the film is first-rate, the guys are cute, and the story has much to say about human nature.
I’m back from my two-mile walk on the beach. As always, the shore was lovely, with many seabirds and few people. The Gulf was calm when I took my swim. Now, I’m home and ready to work on final edits on my Young Adult novel I’ll submit to a publisher next week. It’s always gratifying to reach the end of such a mammoth project. The book’s 45,000 words. I wrote the first draft in the first half of 2011. Then I let it sit while I devoted my time to other projects. I started revisions to the book about two months ago, and now I’m nearly finished.
After lunch, my boyfriend and I will visit the YMCA for our usual workout and lap-swimming, with a little basketball thrown in, as well. We’re attending an outdoor, live performance of The Rock Horror Picture Show tonight, in the city. It should be more than fun.
Have a nice Friday, everyone.
