Hot little video to brighten your Monday morning; stormy day on the island …

Hi, friends and readers:

I know, I know …. It’s Monday morning, and your bed felt so com-fortable. But you had to get up for work. You showered and shaved and had a little breakfast, and now you’re seated in your cubicle or office, staring into your computer screen and thinking, “Why do Monday’s always suck so badly?”

Well, here’s a sexy little video to brighten your day. Just don’t watch it if others can see your monitor, or if you are under the age of eighteen, as it’s rather … explicit:

http://bitchboyblog.nibblebit.com/2012/08/27/isnt-he-cute/

He is cute, isn’t he? I wonder what his name is and where he lives?

Speaking of staying in bed, that’s just what my boyfriend is doing, after working many long hours this weekend. I don’t blame him; he needs the rest, and besides, it’s kind of nasty outdoors this morning, due to Tropical Storm Isaac,

I took my usual morning walk on the beach earlier. It wasn’t bad, just overcast, windy, and damp. A rain band passed over the island while I walked, so I was pretty damp when I got home. But I enjoyed getting outdoors and watching dark clouds skate across the sky. Normally, I’ll see a few dozen people down there when I walk, but this morning, I only saw one, which was kind of nice.

Have a pleasant Monday, everyone.

Tropical Storm Isaac approaches; it’s time to get wet ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Pardon me if I’m in a crappy mood, but this hasn’t been the best of weekends for poor Martin.

My boyfriend’s been working nonstop; I’ve barely seen him. The construction project in my rental apartment next door has kept me housebound, as I must be present at all times for consultation. And then there’s this damned Tropical Storm Isaac, which has given us high winds, rain, and overcast skies, all day today.

Here’s a radar picture of Isaac; it’s a huge storm, almost 220 miles in diameter. As you can see, South Florida’s getting drenched as I write this, and the Tampa Bay area’s about to get clobbered. Oh, boy. I just hope the power doesn’t fail when Isaac passes by on its way to Pensacola or New Orleans. August is no time to lose your air conditioning in central Florida, believe me.

I’ve stayed busy today, working on a Young Adult novel. I plan to publish the book later this year. But I’m getting antsy after being inside all day. Maybe a few beers will cure my jitters. I’ll make myself dinner in a while, and maybe watch a film on cable if the power stays on.

Have a nice Sunday night, my friends.

Hanging out naked; it’s a young man thing …

Hi, friends and readers:

Clothes can be such a nuisance. When a young man gets home, he likes to shed everything: shirts pants, briefs. And why not? It;s just him ad maybe his boyfriend. It’s all about comfort and freedom. Freedom’s a god thing, right? Of course  it is ….

I’m up relatively early. Outside the wind is gusting. It seems our friend, Tropical Storm Isaac, has grown larger and stronger. Sometime today, it will visit Key West, and then move northward, hopefully toward Pensacola and not toward Tampa Bay.

It seems the Republican National Convention will cancel Monday’s festivities, due to the storm. Isn’t that just too bad?

I’m not too worried myself. The odds of the storm doing any damage here are fairly minimal. At worst, we’ll have minor flooding and a whole lot of wind. I’ve survived dozens of hurricanes during my lifetime; they don’t spook me at all.

In a few minutes, I’ll take my morning stroll on the beach. Yeah, it’s windy out there, but the storm’s still far away and maybe I’ll even take a swim in the Gulf. Wherever, you are, I hope you’ll have a pleasant Sunday.

Logan Lerman info avalanche ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Okay, a few days ago, I posted video clips of a young man named Logan Lerman. I had no idea who he was or what he was known for. I mean, he’s a cute guy, but ….

I’ve since been buried in an avalanche of Logan Lerman information from his adoring fans. It seems Mr. Lerman is an American actor from Beverly HIlls, CA. He has appeared in many films and TV shows. In fact, I’ve even seen his movie titled Hoot, set in Florida. I enjoyed the film, actually, and as I recall Logan did a pretty good job in his role. Good for you, Logan

If you want to know everything under the sun about Logan Lerman, you can read about him here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logan_Lerman The young man has quite the track record.

Okay, here is a recent photo of Logan Lerman, now that he’s all grown up. Logan’s of Hebrew descent, which may explain his distinct, physical beauty. During my youth, I had several Jewish boyfriends. They were passionate, sexy, and sweet. (Randy, where are you these days?) How come I’ve left behind such a long trail of lovers?

I’ll bet Logan is a sweetie, too.  Does anyone know? I’m interested to know. Check out those gray eyes and his bed-head hair. He’s lovely, isn’t he?

As stated earlier today, I am a bachelor tonight, a single man at a loss for activity. I mean, when you live on a barrier island on the Gulf of Mexico, there is not much night life. I can walk the shore, or visit our local bar to shoot a game of pool with the locals. Mmm, I think I’ll stay home, instead.

Here’s another photo of Logan Lerman with his co-star in HootI don’t know the co-star’s name, but he’s kind of cute, don’t you think? Maybe I’ll have to rent Hoot from Netflix sometime ….

Okay, we’ve eaten dinner, and my boyfriend has left for work. I’m savoring a glass of California Savignon blanc, and maybe I’ll take a stroll on the beach, a little bit later. In the meantime, friends, have a nice Saturday night.

Hot guys in blue Speedos; Martin’s a loner tonight …

Hi, friends and readers:

When it comes to young men and swimwear, the blue Speedo gets my vote every time. You can see why when you have a look at tonight’s photo posts. Aye-yi-yi. How comes these guys don’t sun themselves on my beach once in a while? I’d even volunteer to rub sunscreen on their backs ….

It’s been a quiet day for me. I worked on a writing project, took care of correspondence, and did a bit of reading. I couldn’t leave the house because I needed to be available to the construction guys working on my rental apartment next door. And I must admit, I’m feeling a bit stir-crazy. Maybe I’ll take a walk on the beach later on this evening.

My boyfriend’s working tonight. My good friend and neighbor, who I often hang with, is out of town right now. So, I’m on my own again. What shall I do?

Okay, I have stories to edit, and a book to read. A moonlit walk along the shore isn’t a bad idea, either. Maybe I’ll encounter a guy in a blue Speedo down there, if I’m lucky.

The weatherman says it’s unlikely we’ll receive a direct hit from Tropical Storm Isaac, which is good, since our little island is unprotected and quite vulnerable to flooding and beach erosion. Hopefully, the storm will take a path far to the west of us, where it can’t do any serious damage.

I’m experiencing heavy traffic on this website today. Thanks to all of you who have stopped by. My “free fiction” postings have become quite popular with readers. If you haven’t tried on, please do, and consider them a gift from Martin to his friends.

Have a wonderful Saturday night, everyone.

The genius of Oscar Wilde, and “The Picture of Dorian Gray” …

Hi, friends and readers:

When I was in law school, about a hundred years ago, I read Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray for the first time. The book contains dozens of hilarious observations on the absurdities of life in Victorian England, mostly spoken by Lord Henry Wotton, a fictitious character in the book.

I liked Lord Henry’s words so much, I underlined many of his remarks in the paperback version of the book I owned. I kept the book for decades and tried to read it once a year, just to remind myself of the many truths lying within Wilde’s story. But, sadly, I lent the book to a German boy I met in Berlin, and he never returned it. Grrrr …. Don’t you hate it when people do that?

Anyway, I recently purchased a new copy of The Picture of Dorian Gray, and I’m in the process of underlining my favorite passages again. There are so many of them, and here are a few from the book’s beginning:

“There is only one thing in the world worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about.”

” … the one charm of marriage is that it makes a life of deception absolutely necessary for both parties.”

“Conscience and cowardice are really the same things. Conscience is the trade-name of the firm. That is all.”

“The value of an idea has nothing whatsoever to do with the sincerity of the man who expresses it. Indeed, the probabilities are that the more insincere the man, the more purely intellectual the idea will be.”

“I like persons better than principles, and I like persons with no principles better than anything else in the world.”

“The aim of life is self-development, to realize one’s nature perfectly.”

“The only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it.”

“Nothing can cure the soul but the senses.”

Whew, those all come from the first two chapters. What an amazing mind Oscar Wilde possessed, and how sad he lived at a time when an openly gay life was something socially unacceptable.

If you’ve never read The Picture of Dorian Gray, you really should. It’s both entertaining and insightful. Here’s a link: http://www.amazon.com/Picture-Dorian-Modern-Library-Classics/dp/0375751513

A sexy little porn flick: the perfect cure for your Saturday doldrums ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I don’t post porn on this site. I have visitors of all ages and tastes here, so I try to keep things clean. But someone sent me a link to a sexy little video I know my gay visitors will enjoy.

Since today is Saturday, and you have all day to keep yourselves entertained, I thought I’d share this gem with those who have an interest. Don’t watch video this if you are under the age of 18, or if explicit male/male sex offends you ….

http://xhamster.com/movies/1103538/boys_in_the_gym.html?embed=view

You can “full screen” the video by clicking in the little box in the lower right-hand corner of the video frame. The two young men in the video hardly look like gym rats to me, but they are kind of cute and their equipment is certainly mature. Aye-yi-yi.

I’m up late today. Construction next door requires my constant presence, so I won’t be straying from the homestead anytime soon. I’ll work on writing projects, and tend to correspondence. Not too exciting, eh?

I hope your Saturday will be more interesting than mine.

Best friends getting close; busy Friday for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Getting close with your best friend, when you’re a randy young man, can be one of the best experiences of your life. Especially when you and your bud are out in nature, in a completely private place. The guys in tonight’s photo posts look like they’re enjoying themselves immensely, don’t they?

Ahhh, the days of youth ….

Today turned out to be a busy one for me. Unexpectedly, the window repair man and the guy who is tiling the shower in my rental apartment, decided today was the day they needed to work next door. So, I was pretty much trapped here all day, in case I was needed for consultation or authorization. I did manage to visit the supermarket, but the rest of the day I stayed in our home, working on writing projects, paying bills and reading the newspaper form cover to cover.

Renovation projects are never fun, but sometimes they are necessary, and the one next door qualifies as “necessary.” When everything is finished, the place will look great for my new tenant, whoever he or she turns out to be.

As mentioned this morning, my boyfriend’s at work today, and I’m on my own this evening. I picked up a little something nice for dinner tonight, and I suspect I won’t stay up late. I’m feeling a bit tired, and there’s not much interesting on le tube.

Wherever you are tonight, I hope you’re enjoying your Friday evening. The weekend’s here; get out there and enjoy it, friends.

Hot guys in red plaid shirts; breezy Friday on the island …

Hi, friends and readers:

Red plaid doesn’t look good on me; I’m not sure why. But it sure looks great on the two guys in today’s photo posts. Would you agree?

Okay, the guy at left could have chosen a more compatible colored ball cap, but you know straight guys. Most lack good taste when mixing and matching wardrobe items. We’ll have to forgive him for his stylistic shortcomings, in light of his amazing smile and ripped body. Aye-yi-yi. I wonder where he lives?

I rose early this morning, for my usual two-mile speed-walk on the beach. A nice breeze blew and the Gulf was calm. Because the itme was early, the temperature wasn’t warm, and my walk was pleasant. So was my dip in the Gulf afterward. A city crew was collecting benches from the beach, in anticipation of Tropical Storm Isaac, which may or may not visit us in the next few days.

Here’s another hottie with a red plaid shirt. Okay, technically he’s not wearing the shirt, but it’s a nice accent piece, don’t you think? I like his pose and the expression on his face. I wonder what his name is? I’m guessing “Jake”.

Back to the storm ….

Newcomers to Florida tend to panic over approaching storms. They run to the supermarket to buy flats of bottled water and packages of batteries. They purchase canned food and all sorts of other unnecessary items. Then the storm turns and nothing happens.

We live 100 yards from the Gulf, 40 yards from the Intracoastal Waterway. We have an oil burning hurricane lantern, a flashlight, a natural gas cooktop, and plenty of canned food. It’s about all we need, in the event our electrical power goes out for a while. I’ve lived in Florida all my life, and these storms are just part of being Floridian. My guess is, Isaac won’t even come close to the Tampa Bay area, but you never know. We’ll deal with the storm, if it does visit.

Have a nice Friday, everyone.

“Cute Boys Night” at Martin’s site. Where did the day go?

Hi, friends and readers:

Sometimes I’m out in public, at a ball game or a restaurant or the beach. I’ll see a young man in his mid-teens, and I’ll say to myself, “I’d like to see him again, in a few years, when he’s matured.” And to honor such young men, I offer two photos I know you’ll like.

The first is clearly a professional photo, and I like everything about it: the sepia color, the boy’s shaggy hair and dark eyes, and the expression on his face. Check out those lips, too. Aye-yi-yi …

I wonder what his name is, and where he lives. I’m guessing he’s northern European, probably German, Belgian, or Dutch. Anyway, I think the photographer did a great job of capturing the young man’s beauty. Do you agree? Of course you do.

This afternoon turned out to be a busy one for me.

I had to drive all over town. First I purchased tile for the new shower stall in my rental apartment. Then I bought paint for the bathroom walls. I visited a window repair shop to buy parts to fix two windows (Real fun ….) and then I stopped by the florist’s for fresh cut carnations to put in my crystal vase I bought in Prague, back in the late 1980s. Whew. I’m glad to be home, with the car unloaded, and a fresh beer in front of me.

Do you like the second photo I’ve posted? The young man’s handsome, of course, but he seems oblivious to his own beauty. Boys that age often are, you know. The photo’s obviously a candid shot, probably taken on a pedestrian mall in Europe, or maybe the United States. Is that a Foot Locker shopping bag to the right of him? I see signs written in English in the background. Ahh, really. Who cares …?

My boyfriend’s working tonight, so I’m on my own. I’ll make a simple dinner and do a little writing afterward. Or maybe I’ll watch a movie on cable if there’s something decent on. Spending an evening alone is never a problem for me.

Wherever you are, I hope you’re having a nice Thursday night. Go out and take a walk on the streets, and maybe you’ll spy a few cute guys, too. They’re everywhere, you know ….
