A few years ago, I attended a writers’ conference in New Orleans. I stayed in a guest house in the French Quarter. During the day I attended the workshops at the conference. At night I would haunt The Corner Pocket, a nice little gay bar where cute LSU students dance on the bar in their skimpy briefs. If you’ve never been there, be sure to visit when you’re in The Big Easy. The place is a treat.
But I digress … While in New Orleans, I noticed several young men wearing fedora hats like the one the guy at left is flaunting. I have to say, I think the hats look ridiculous on most guys, but his looks pretty good on him. Do you agree?
Today, I must drive 70 miles through central Florida, to visit a loved one in an ALF. It’s a treacherous drive through Tampa, and then on I-4. People drive like maniacs. But I haven’t visited in two weeks, and it’s time I did. With all the time I spent on the road last week, helping my boyfriend find and apartment and move, I feel like a total road warrior. My poor Element …
Anyway, I must get ready for my trip, so I’ll wish everyone a pleasant Tuesday.
