A pair of “sucky” T-shirts; busy day for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I always enjoy humorous T-shirts, especially those with gay themes. I don’t think I’d have the balls to wear either shirt appearing in today’s photo posts, but I admire the guys who are wearing them. They have my complete admiration.

I rose super early this morning, because I had been summoned for jury duty at the criminal courthouse. But when I called to confirm the need for my appearance, I found out I’d been excused. Whopee ….

So, I took my usual morning walk on the shore.  There was a stiff breeze blowing out of the southwest, and the sky was overcast. The Gulf frothed, too, so I guess there’s a storm somewhere in the area. A heavy rain band passed over my house after I returned. That’s all okay with me. Things will stay cooler, with these conditions.

After my walk I put in two solid hours of fresh writing on my new novel. I’ve made a pledge to myself I will work every day on the book for the next two weeks. I really like the story, though I have no idea where it will end up, plot-wise. And that’s okay, too.

This afternoon, I must clean the rental apartment next door from top to bottom, and then it will be ready to rent for the winter tourist season. I know, that’s not a very exciting afternoon for an intrepid fiction writer like me, but work is work, and money is money. I’m not too good to mop floors, you know.

Have a nice Tuesday, everyone.
