I’m not much on fashion models; they don’t come across as genuine people. But I like Francisco Lachowski, and I really like Alan Carey, whose photos I have posted here tonight.
I believe these two come from Alan’s first “tryout” photo shoot, where the agency sends a potential model onto the rooftop of their NYC office building, to be photographed in front of a brick wall in bright daylight. It’s cheap, and it reveals whatever flaws the young man may have.
I don’t see any flaws in Alan. Do you?
It’s been a nice afternoon for me. I had a great workout and lap-swimming session at the YMCA, and I performed well at the driving range afterward, so how can I complain? Okay, it’s still really muggy on the island tonight, but cooler weather comes later this week.
Tonight, a good friend and neighbor will join me for a bottle of wine and a swim at the timeshare facility down the street. I have access to the pool and spa because I bought a week’s timeshare, earlier this year. The place is really well maintained. The pool’s sparkly and so is the spa, and there’s hardly ever anyone there at night. It’s fun, splashing about while the moon rises and a nice breeze blows.
A few people wrote me this morning, asking how I’m doing, now that my lovely boyfriend is living in Gainesville. Listen, I’m fine. It’s been a bit of an adjustment, but we talk on the phone each day, and later this week we will rendezvous on the East Coast for a few surfing session and a round of golf. It’ll be great to see him, and I’m sure we’ll put our hotel room to good use. He likes his new job, and I’m happy for his success with his company. It’s all good, okay?
Have a nice Monday evening, friends.
