Guys on the rocks; blustery day on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I live about 100 yards from a sandy beach; we don’t have rock formations here. But I’ve always found rocky coastlines interesting, be they in Maine, California or Washington State.

Of course, rocks always look more appealing when they are combined with handsome young men who are wearing little or nothing. I thought you’d all enjoy the two photos I’ve posted here this morning. Aren’t those rocks in the photos interesting?

I woke around seven this morning, and I tried going for my three-mile walk, but a cold front blew into the area last night, and the wind is blowing out of the north about twenty MPH, making things nasty outdoors. I’ll walk or ride my bike in most any conditions but windy weather. Wind turns exercising into work. Who needs it?

This will be a typical Monday for me. I’ve finished my writing for the day. My new novel’s at 35,000 words and still ¬†growing. Who knows where it will end?

After lunch, I’ll visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming. Thankfully, the wind won’t be blowing in¬†there. I’ll need to visit the supermarket on the way home, as the cupboard’s a little bare right now.

I don’t know what I’ll do with my evening, but I think I’ll skip watching sunset tonight. It’s just too damned windy down at the beach. Wherever you are, I hope you’re enjoying your Monday.
