Ever attended a high school or college wrestling meet? I’d never been to one until my nephew wrestled for his high school team. Wrestling’s not as big in the South as it is up North and in the Midwest. But I always enjoyed my nephew’s meets.
Wrestling requires a great deal of self-discipline and determination. Practices are rigorous, so is the training. If a guy wants to “make weight”, he has top be careful what he eats during the season.
Oh, of course the guys always look hot in their revealing singlets. Nothing’s left to the imagination, as you can see in the photos I’ve posted here tonight. Aye-yi-yi ….
I had a good workout and lap-swimming session at the YMCA. I got all my errands run, and even removed a old washer and dryer from the rental apartment next door, one of the last things I needed to do before it’s ready for tenants.
It’s chilly here on the island tonight. The wind’s still blowing steadily out; now it’s coming from the west. I have my gas fireplace burning, and it’s kind of nice. It’s hard to believe I swam in the Gulf of Mexico last week, after I walked on the beach. Summer is definitely over. I’m home right now, drinking a beer, and getting ready to cook dinner. It’ll be a simple meal–stir-fried chicken with veggies, over pasta–and I’ll make it an early night tonight.
Have a nice Monday evening, friends.
