Over the past two nights I watched a French Canadian film titled I Killed My Mother. The story deals with conflict between a young gay man and his mother who raised him by herself since his early childhood. The clip you see above in a scene in an art studio where the main character makes love with his handsome boyfriend.
The first night I watched the film, I gave up on it half-way through. I didn’t find it all that interesting and, like most French Canadian films, the pacing was slow. But I gave the film a second chance and watched the rest last night. It wasn’t bad, actually, so you might want to give it a try one day. You can read about it here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1424797/?ref_=sr_1
It’s been a good day so far. A tropical storm is brewing in the Carribbean; it’s tossing wind and cloudy weather our way, which keeps things much cooler. I had a nice walk on the beach, and then a productive morning, editing my new novel. After lunch, we’re off to the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming. Then my boyfriend goes to work and I’ll visit the golf course for badly-needed practice.
Have a nice Friday everyone.
