Today’s photo post is a bit different from my usual format, but I found the pictures appearing above most inspiring, and I wish to share them with you in full size, so there you have it. The two young men are clearly in love, and when I look at the photos I think of my friend Austin who wrote to me recently about finding love for the first time in his life. Congratulations, Austin.
I slept in late this morning; I was tired after spending five hours on the road and two gliding down a river in the hot sunshine. The Rainbow River is beautiful; it’s clear as gin, with plentiful wildlife: birds, turtles, fish and alligators. A state park rents you a tube and drives you two miles upriver at a cost of eleven dollars per person, a real bargain. If you ever get the chance, you should go. Here’s a photo from the river. See how clear the water is?
I have two appointments in the city today. I’ll visit the YMCA with my boyfriend for a workout and lap-swimming, and then tonight I’ll have dinner with an old friend in the city. So the Element will get a workout today. Have a nice Wednesday, everyone.
