We arrived in San Francisco, safe and sound yesterday. The weather here is beautiful: sunny and cool. We shared beers with my boyfriend’s brother on The Embarcadero, had a great outdoor dinner at an open-air festival, and drank way too much Napa Valley wine from tent vendors. We slept like two logs on a comfortable bed at our hosts’ apartment in the heart of the city. It feels so good to be back here. Last night, in the cab, we passed so many places I remember so well: Coit Tower, City Lights Bookstore, and Polk Street, once the epicenter of San Francisco’s gay community.
Now we’re up and preparing breakfast. It’ll be a busy day, exploring sections of the city. Have a great Saturday, friends.
