Self-portraits taken in the bathroom don’t usually get my juices flowing, but I came across the two I have posted here tonight I think are pretty hot. I especially like the goofy expression on the young man’s face in the lower photo-graph. He looks like he’d be fun to hang out with, eh?
I am reporting tonight from Lake Tahoe, northeast of San Francisco, amid the Sierra Nevada mountains. We drove East on I-80, then turned onto US Highway 50, which winds its way through mountain passes, reaching an altitude of 7,000 feet at one point. We saw breathtaking sights. The road was lined with towering redwoods; it’s so beautiful here.
The weather here in Tahoe is perfect: about 72 degrees, dry, and sunny. Our hotel room has a nice view of the lake, and later on we’ll hit the hot tub for a soak. Right now, it’s about 6:30 PM. My boyfriend’s parti-cipating in a fantasy football league; he has to pick his players tonight, so we’ll dine when he’s finished.
I don’t have any interest in fantasy football, so I’ll work on a writing project and maybe enjoy the view from our balcony for a while. It’s so nice to get away from Florida’s heat, and I really don’t want to be indoors very long while we are here. The lake’s beautiful and quite huge. It’s surrounded by mountains. Of course, we have nothing like this in Florida, so I’m tingling with excitement.
Have a nice Monday, everyone. Wish you were here to enjoy this place with us.
