I keep saying I’m going to attend a swim meet somewhere in the immediate area, but I never do. I guess I am too lazy to study the sports page to find out where the events take place. The guys look so amazing in their Speedos, like the two in the photos I’ve posted here this morning.
The young man in the upper photo has a curious expression on his face, sort of like he’s saying to himself, “Why’s that guy taking so many pictures of me?”
I’m back from my three-mile beach walk, and already the day has turned steamy. The only saving grace this morning was a light breeze that kept me from sweating too much as I strode along the sand. At least the Gulf of Mexico was cool when I took a little swim.
I don’t really have a lot planned for today. I’ll visit a friend who’s recovering from surgery in a rehab facility, maybe take him a few things to read. If we get some cloud cover, I’ll visit the driving range to hit a bucket of balls, but if we don’t have clouds I won’t go; it’s just too hot on the golf course without them.
My boyfriend will be glued to the TV, watching football, but I have seen enough for one weekend, so I’ll stay busy with other things: correspondence, paying bills, doing promotional activities on my latest publications, and so forth. As long as I’m in the air conditioning, I’ll be fine.
Traffic’s been heavy on this website this weekend. Many thanks to all of you who have stopped by and left comments. I appreciate the time you all spend writing to me and sharing your thoughts. Wherever you are, I hope you’re enjoying your Sunday.
