I don’t know why, but there’s somethng sexy about a good-looking young man wearing a backpack, whether he’s wearing a shirt or not. I guess a backpack lends a guy a sense of purpose, as if he’s headed for a classroom lecture of hiking a trail. Anyway, I like both photos I’ve posted here this morning. Do you?
I’m afraid we got a late start this morning. Last night, my boyfriend and I joined a friend in the city for dinner at a good Thai restaurant. Then we drove to Tampa’s airport to pick up friends arriving from a trip to Maine. We ended up watching the Rays v. Yankees game at our friends’ home, and then we finished the evening by drinking a bottle of wine on our back porch. I’m afraid we didn’t get to bed until one AM or so, which explains the late rising this morning. Oh well, last night was fun, and we pretty much have an open day today.
Now, I hate shopping of any kind. But we need new living room furniture, and I have avoided looking at any furniture for many months. I finally promised my boyfriend I would look at sofas online today, in hopes of finding one suitable for our home. I’m not looking forward to this, but it’s a necessary task, and I’m a guy who keeps his promises.
The rain has finally ceased falling, and the roofing guys came yesterday to fix the leak in our roof, so all is okay in that department. It’s so nice to see the sun shining again.
I’m not sure what’s in store for tonight; I think we may go bowling at an alley only a few miles form where we live. It’s a retro place I bowled at all the time when I was in high school, and going there always brings back memories. Have a nice Thursday, friends, wherever you might be.
