It’s Christmas morning, and I’m home by myself, as my boyfriend is spending today with his family in Minnesota. My family? Well, let’s just say I’d rather not spend the day with them.
I know it’s cold most places today, but not here on my little island, where the sun is shining and a breeze is stirring the fronds on my coconut palms. I hope you’ll enjoy the greeting card I’m posting here this morning.
Dinner with my friends last night went well. I got home around nine PM. I drank a little wine and listened to Christmas music while admiring our Christmas tree. Then I spent an hour reading in my nice warm bed. It wasn’t a wild Christmas Eve, that’s for certain, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I know my friends I had dinner with enjoyed it too.
Oh, yes …
I’m posting a second photo here, a little Christmas gift to all of my loyal readers out there. This was my favorite photo I posted in 2012, and I thought I’d post it again today, for your pleasure and enjoyment. When I first posted the photo, I received a flood of messages about the picture. Many people believe the photo was shot in a church and the man kneeling before the boy is a Catholic priest. Well, I don’t know about that. I suppose the photo’s subject to interpretation, and that’s why it’s so special.
Have a wonderful Christmas, friends, wherever you might be today.
