Everyone enjoyed the black-and-white photos I posted this morning, so I thought I’d share two more this evening. The top photo is, of course, Brazilian fashion model Fracisco Lachowski, arguably the world’s most beautiful man, other than my boyfriend. It seems a photographer caught Francisco in an awkward moment, but he doesn’t seem too upset about it, does he? Ah, Francisco, what I’d give for one night ….
Our trip to the YMCA was a good one. I haven;t been able to run on the street for about eighteen months now. My knees won’t tolerate this any more, ad my doctor says my running days are over. As a New Year’s resolution I decided to start using a elliptical machine when I visit the YMCA, and so far I like it. It’s a good workout, but doesn’t jar the knees, so it’s okay to use the machine. I worked up a good sweat today, ran about 1-1/4 miles. I hope to raise that to a couple of miles within a few weeks.
Okay, have a look at the photo to the left. I’m not a huge fan of beefcake water polo players, but really . . . Who could resist? I remember driving past Franklin & Marshall College once. It’s in east Pennsylvania, and a very fine school. Do you think he’s a student there? Aye-yi-yi, Pennsylvania, here I come.
We’re home now, feeling relaxed and ready for a nice evening. A friend and neighbor gifted us with a cooking device called a “pizza stone.” You buy pizza crusts at the supermarket, and then you create your own pizza, just as you like it. You bake the pizza on the pizza stone; it works great, the pizza comes out perfect. So tonight, while the winter storm rages outside, we’ll dine on pizza and salad. Then we’ll watch FSU play Auburn for the NCAA national football championship. I’m a grad of FSU’s law school, so I’ll cheer for the Seminoles.
Have a nice Monday night, friends. Remember: snuggling helps you stay warm.
