I’m a fan of day-eyed guys myself, but I can certainly appreciate the appeal of blue-eyed men as well, especially guys as cute as the two in this morning’s photo posts. I mean, check out the guy to the left. Look at those abs. Aye-yi-yi, why can’t I have a waist that trim?
kay, I’m not nineteen years old, I know, but still it would be nice to walk around with my shirt off, looking all ripped. Well, we can’t have everything, can we?
I’m slowly recovering from whatever virus attacked me Friday. It has drained my energy, disrupted my sleep, and forced me to spend far too much time in the bathroom, but I’m feeling much better this morning, and I tink by tomorrow I’ll be back to normal, or at least close to it. That’s a good thing, because tomorrow morning, quite early, my boyfriend and I will take a nonstop flight to Panama, to spend ten day surfing in the Pacific Ocean in a remote community north of Panama City.
Now, I know some people think this sounds a bit risky, but it’s really not. Panama’s a safe country, welcoming to U.S. tourists, and, I’m told, quite beautiful. The place we are staying is run by two women (Maybe lesbians, who knows?) and is right on the Pacific. The waves range form gentle to monster, and I think we’ll stick to the former, as the monsters are at the reef breaks, and I don’t like surfing over coral, sorry.
Anyway, today is a day of packing and preparation. In addition to clothing, we’re taking snorkeling gear, my laptop, my guitar, and our i-Pods. I am assured by our hotel (It’s a small place with maybe ten rooms.) that their WiFi is working, so hopefully I will be able to post from the Panamanian coast.
It’s a beautiful day here on the island. The sky has finally cleared, the sun is shining, and the temperature will rise into the mid-70’s this afternoon. Have a nice Sunday, everyone.
