Once in a while, when I’m walking down the street here in Panama City (PC) I’ll come upon a young man so beautiful he steals my breath, like the two guys in today’s photo posts. Each is beautiful in his own way, and I especially like the expression on the young man’s face in t e upper photo. He looks almost … seductive, doesn’t he? I’m not a big fan of “tank tops” but his looks good on him.
Today is our last day in Panama, and while I am looking forward to sleeping in our comfortable bed on our little island, I will miss Panama very much: its natural beauty, the friendly people, and the variety of outdoor activities the country offers.
Look, everyone has differing ideas about the type of vacation activities they prefer. Me, I could never do a cruise ship, even for three days. I like swimming, hiking, snorkeling, surfing, those sorts of things. I don’t want to sit on may ass with a drink in my hand. I also like to dine on local cuisine, not Americanized crap like Hooters and KFC. (Yes, they have those here.)
We’ve kept busy here every single day. I can’t say I am wild about PC, it’s just another big city with crazy traffic and ceaseless horn-honking. But the people here are civil, and there’s an amazing array of dining choices that are not expensive. Our Peruvian dinner last night was excellent. Including a pitcher of sangria, the bill was $40.
Our flight from PC doesn’t leave until around six PM, so we’ll spend our day exploring the Panama Canal before driving our rental car to the airport for the three-hour flight to Tampa. Have a nice Wednesday, everyone.
