I just returned from errand-running, which took me to the other end of the island I live on, where all the larger hotels are located. Despite the fact Spring Break is over, the sidewalks were full of college-age guys wearing nothing but boardshorts and flip-flops. Needless to say, I found it hard to concentrate on my driving.
It’s been a productive day, here at the house. We thoroughly cleaned the place, everything including the porches. I changed the air conditioner filters, cleaned the coffee pot, and also the microwave oven. Now the place is sparkling, and you’d never know a very large party was held here on Sunday.
I considered taking a ten-mile bike ride after we finished our work, but outside it’s pretty warm today, I’d guess about 85 degrees F, and I wasn’t up for dealing with the heat.
My boyfriend’s working tonight, so after he left I visited the booze market, the bank and the supermarket, to re-stock our supplies and deposit a check. Like I said earlier, the sites on the sidewalks were nothing less than spectacular, so I didn’t mind the errands.
Okay, have a look at the guy to the left. A pair of boardshorts never looked so good as they do on him. Would you agree?
Now I’m home and savoring a cold bottle of Corona Light beer, one of many bottles left by our guests after our Sunday party. I’ll work on a writing project for a little bit, and I have a Netflix movie to watch tonight, so I won’t be bored at all. I have fresjh fish to prepare for dinner, and a nice bottle of Savignon blanc chilling in the fridge, so it’s going to be a pleasant night for me.
Have a nice Tuesday night, friends, wherever you might be.
