This morning’s paper carried a photo taken at the courthouse in Pulaski County, Arkansas. Two young men were kissing, just after they received their marriage license from the clerk of court. I shook my head in wonderment. Arkansas? Really?
Look, having someone in your llife who you truly love is about the greatest gift life can give you. Relationships are never easy; they have their ups and downs, but in the end you can’t beat having a boyfriend in your bed when you wake up in the morning.
Speaking of boyfriends, I’ve got to get mine out of bed because in exactly one hour we must depart for the Tampa airport for our flight to Philadelphia. It’s not a long flight, just 2-1/2 hours, and then we’ll be in the city of “brotherly love.” 😉
I rose pretty early this morning so I could take my usual three-mile walk on the beach. Conditions were beautiful: sunny, breezy, and not too warm. The Gulf was calm and the shore was nice and soft, which is nice when you’re walking barefooted like I always am. (You have to feel that sand between your toes, you know.) Now I’m home and I’m enjoying a quick breakfast before hopping into the shower. We have a fun day ahead of us, and I’m in a great mood.
Have a wonderful Tuesday, friends, wherever you may be today.
