I often wonder if young guys know that when they place their selfie photos on their Facebook page or Instagram, the photos are out there for the world to see. There’s no turning back. Do the young men in today’s posts realize several thousand people will view them on this website today? Probably not, but that’s life in the digital world, isn’t it?
They do fill out those briefs quite nicely, don’t they? Aye-yi-yi ….
Our travel from Philadelphia back to Florida went smoothly today. We arrived home around 3:30 this afternoon, and things were so beautiful, here on the island. A nice breeze blew from the east, and the temperature wasn’t too warm. I took a three-mile walk on the shore after we unpacked, and it felt so good to smell the fresh salt air.
We had a wonderful time in Philadelphia. Our hosts were the greatest, and last night’s party was a huge success. I would estimate about 75 people were there. The guests ate up all the hamburgers I made on Friday, along with most all the other foods people prepared. The guests drank a lot of booze as well. My boyfriend and I stayed up until about midnight before we crashed.
This morning, we had to rise fairly early, as our flight departed at noon, and we had to drive to the airport, return the rental car, and then make it through security before boarding the plane. It all went off without a hitch. What a great experience.
We spent about 45 minutes this evening, sitting on the front porch of our unoccupied rental unit next door. The porch overlooks the Intracoastal Waterway, and a nice breeze kept us cool. The palms trees swayed and it felt so good to be back home. In a few minutes, I’ll prepare dinner, and then we’ll watch a Netflix movie.
Have a nice Sunday night, friends.
