If you live in coastal Florida like I do, your sunglasses are something you’re never without during daylight hours. The sun’s reflecting off the Gulf and the beach sand can be blinding; it can give you headaches, and interfere with your driving.
I have a nice pair of RayBans I’ve owned for almost two years now. The lenses are Polarized so I see everything very clearly, but my eyes are protected.
Do you like the guys in today’s photo posts as much as I do? Don’t you think they look great in their sunglasses. Alright, okay, they’d look good without the sunglasses too, wouldn’t they?
I rose at 7:30 this morning, but I didn’t get to walk on the beach because another repair guy was due here this morning to deal with a crack in a sprinkler system pipe in the yard. It seems like repair people have been here every day this week, and I’ll be glad when this ends.
It’s actually a nice day, here on the island. There’s a steady breeze coming from the east, and the temperature’s lower due to an overcast sky. Once the repair people are gone, I think I’ll take my three-mile walk on the beach, to savor the breeze.
Tonight, my boyfriend and I will celebrate our fourth anniversary of living together here. It’s been a great time in my life, one of the best, and I’m in the mood to have a nice bottle of wine and a nice dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. Maybe we’ll even dress up a little bit for the occasion. It’s important to honor these milestones in your life, I think.
Okay, everyone, have a nice Thursday, wherever you might be. And don’t forget to wear your sunglasses. 🙂
