For some reason, I find young men look especially appealing when they wear a ball cap turned backward; I’m not sure why. I guess the cap lends a guy an irreverent look, like he doesn’t care if everything about his appearance is “just so.” I think both guys in today’s photo posts look terrific in their backward ball caps. Would you agree?
I slept until 8:30 this morning; I was tired after my busy day yesterday, plus after we enjoyed our lobster dinner, my boyfriend and I visited our timeshare to swim in the pool, and then soak in the hot tub. A full moon had risen and the air wasn’t chilly, a perfect way to enjoy an October evening in central Florida.
I don’t have much planned for today, really. I spent 2-1/2 hours writing fresh material for my novel-in-progress. My boyfriend just got home, and soon I’ll prepare lunch for us. He has an afternoon class, and I plan to take a twelve-mile bike ride, out here on the island, right after he leaves. It’s a beautiful day here; the sun is shining, the humidity’s low, and a nice little breeze is blowing. October’s one of my favorite months in Florida because summer’s heat finally fades, and then we can enjoy the outdoor activities we love: camping, canoeing, kayaking, playing pitch-and-catch in the alley, or tossing a football back and forth.
Okay, friends, I need to get my butt in the kitchen to fix lunch, so I will wish all of you a wonderful Thursday, wherever you are today.
