Have a look at the photo to the left. What do you suppose is going on? The boy is holding a basketball. He’s is naked, and he’s clearly deep in thought. It appears he’s in a locker room, and that’s his uniform beside him on the bench. Is he mourning his team’s loss in a basketball game? Or maybe his mind’s not focused on basketball at all. Maybe he’s thinking about the argument he just had with his boyfriend. Who knows? But that’s what good photography does, it asks more questions than it answers.
I rose early this morning, but I didn’t walk on the beach because I had to visit a laboratory to have blood drawn for my semi-annual, medical checkup with my wonderful doctor. When you’re my age, you have to monitor your heath more carefully than you do when you’re twenty-five. It’s just common sense.
Anyway, by the time I got home a huge thunder-storm was rolling over my little island. The sky was very dark, and then the rain came, just as I got inside my front door. The weatherman says it’s supposed to storm all day, and then get cooler. I don’t think I’ll get to ride my bike for exercise today. I’ll probably stay inside and work on a writing project.
Have a nice Tuesday, everyone.
