Some guys should never wear a shirt, except maybe in a restaurant. If either guys in today’s photo posts were my boyfriend, I’d forbid him to wear a shirt when he was around the house. Aye-yi-yi, just look at all that smooth flesh and those rippling muscles ….
I rose super-early this morning, around six AM. Since daylight doesn’t arrive until around 7:30 these days, I spent ninety minutes having breakfast and doing a bit of work on my novel-in-progress. Then, once the sun came up, I took my usual three-mile walk on the beach. The sunrise was beautiful and the Gulf was relatively long. Hundreds of seabirds stood along the shore; I guess they were waiting for schools of bait fish to cruise by. A fair number of folks were out for their morning walks because the weather was so pleasant: cool, sunny, and dry, with only a light breeze.
Late October is one of my favorite times of year because our summer heat is gone and I can enjoy the outdoors. It’s a great time to fish, camp, canoe, and hike. My boyfriend’s out of town for the weekend, and I’ll stay busy working in the yard.
Tonight I’m taking a neighbor out for drinks and dinner. She’s a total sweetie, and lots of fun to be with, so I am looking forward to spending time with her. We’ll have a bunch of laughs and enjoy a good meal. It’s my idea of a fun Friday evening.
Have a nice Friday yourselves, friends. The weekend is here. 🙂
