I’ve owned swimming pools most of my adult life, and it’s always been a sort of love/hate relationship between me and the pools. On the plus side, in Florida you can use your pool about nine months out of the years if you have a solar heating system. It’s fun to share a few beers with your boyfriend in the pool, just floating about on rafts, especially at night when the moon is up. And there’s nothing better than a pool on a hot Florida afternoon. The problem? Maintenance is a bitch and the chemicals are really expensive. Still, if the young man to the left lived with me, maybe I could pay him t do the maintenance. The money would be worth it, especially if he wore that swimsuit at pool side on a regular basis. What a cute guy …. 😉
Well, my painting project went smoothly, but it took most of the afternoon. Painting furniture is always time-consuming because it’s so detailed. The job’s not done; I have to put on another coat tomorrow, But it’s looking good.
I actually did some more yard work after I painted, and by then it was shower time. My boyfriend’s first law school exam went well, but he’s really tired tonight, so we’ll keep things relaxed this evening.
In a few minutes, I’ll hit the kitchen to prepare our dinner, which will be the last of our Thanksgiving leftovers. It’ll be a tasty meal: turkey, stuffing, gravy, and fresh, steamed green beans. Doesn’t that sound good?
Have a nice Tuesday night, friends.
