Merry Christmas from Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I know I haven’t posted in two days, and that’s because I was busy finishing edits on a new book I have coming out at the end of the month. But now I am done with work, and ready to get into Christmas with both feet.

Christmas Santa HatIn case you’d like to buy me something nice for Christmas, you can ship me the guy to the left here. Be sure to include his Santa hat and tell him to wear those sweatpants, nothing else. I’ll keep him warm, don’t you worry.

In a couple of hours, my boyfriend and I will pack up the Element and then head 80 miles northward, to a river where we’ve rented a cottage for three nights. Tonight we’ll visit a state wildlife park where they are having a Christmas celebration. We’ll get to visit manatees, a black bear, a Florida panther, and plenty of pink flamingos. We’re picking up our Christmas dinner at a supermarket up there, so we won’t go hungry tomorrow, trust me.

Friday, we’ve reserved a power boat for the day. We’ll do a bit of fishing and maybe drink a little beer. 😉 It all may sound like a strange way to spend the Christmas holiday, but we’re not slaves to tradition. We’ll have fun, believe me.

Have a wonderful Christmas. everyone. I won’t post again until Saturday, as we won’t have Internet where we are staying. Stay warm, everyone.

  1. Martin,

Sure wish you two a wonderful next few days. Youre trip sounds just perfect except for the “fishing” …. ha ha …. can’t imagine finding pleasure in that, unless you have a couple of cuties baiting your hooks and reeling in the fish after you hook them. 🙂 I was actually on a Yacht with some friends and had 2 boys hired to do as stated above and bring us food and drink. They were “shirtless” as it was a family trip, but I enjoyed it none-the-less!!!

Thanks for all the interesting posts and picture with your most interesting take on them. I love it when you try to figure out what is going on or what they are thinking, but I can imagine what you don’t share with us. 🙂

    Sincere Holiday wishes to you.
