In honor of Florida’s recognition of same-sex marriages throughout the state, I’m posting two of my favorite “lover boys” photos for your enjoyment this evening. I’m guessing the photo to the left was taken in Florida, based on the palm trees and foliage in the background. You can tell these two guys really care for each other, can’t you?
I had a good afternoon today. After a light lunch, I rode my bike fourteen miles, here on the island. Okay, a fairly stiff wind was blowing from the northwest, making the ride more arduous than usual, but it wasn’t that bad, and I got a good workout.
When I returned home, I spent a while dealing with bill-paying and correspondence. I took care of some pain-in-the-ass phone calls that needed to be made, and I straightened up the house.
Now it’s 5:45 PM and I am freshly showered and ready for a relaxing evening. I’ll drink a few beers, and then I’ll prepare a shrimp and pasta dish with the fresh Gulf shrimp I bought at the seafood market down the street. It’s always a tasty meal, especially when I add fresh herbs from our garden.
The weatherman says its’ going to get chilly tonight. A cold front is approaching central Florida, and we’ll have a low tonight in the fifties. Then it’ll get even colder tomorrow night. It’s okay, the cold helps keep the bug population in check, plus it’s kinds nice to wear a sweater for a change.
I don’t have much planned for this evening. I may watch a little TV if I can find something decent, or I may do a bit of reading instead. It’s nothing too exciting but I’m fine with it. Have a nice Tuesday night, friends, and stay warm.
