When it comes to photography I’m not a huge fan of selfies; you see so many of them and most are terrible: bad lighting, grainy, amateurish, and often silly. But once in a while I come across a few I really like, and I thought I would share two of them with you this morning. Check out this guy to the left: beautiful body, nice skin, and I love the workout gloves. Would you like to spot him while he bench-presses two hundred pounds? Of course you would. But couldn’t he at least have closed the lid on the toilet behind him before he took the picture? 🙁
I slept a little late this morning, but I dragged my butt down to the beach and walked three miles. The air was cool and damp, the sky overcast, and there weren’t many people walking the shore. I enjoyed my walk just the same. The Gulf was as flat as a mirror, and everything was … quiet.
Now I’m home and savoring a cup of coffee while I write these words. It’s really too late for me to write new material for my novel-in-progress. I simply must start getting to bed earlier, now that the holidays are over.
Do you find the young man to the left as appealing as I do? It’s amazing what weight training can do for a guy’s body, especially when he’s in his late teens or early twenties. Nobody had bodies like these guys when I was in high school or college.
This will be a typical Wednesday for me. I’ll read the newspaper after I finish this post. Then, after lunch I’ll visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming. I’ll hit the supermarket on the way home to pick up a few things we need. I’ll cook dinner for myself and my boyfriend, and then maybe we’ll start a blaze in our patio’s fire pit. Not a bad day, eh?
Have a great Wednesday, everyone.
