Beautiful boys in Speedos; busy day ahead for Martin ….

blue speedoHi, friends and readers:

I’ve spent a good deal of time in Europe and also Australia, where boys aren’t shy about their bodies. They think nothing of wearing a Speedo to the beach, or even getting naked at the beach. I don’t know why boys in the U.S. are so modest, but they are. Instead of Speedos they wear baggy boardshorts. šŸ™

Anyway, I thought I would share two of my favorite “Speedo pics” with you this morning, in hopes they will brighten your day.

After yesterday’s gloomy conditions, the sky has cleared and the sun is shining. The wind quit blowing, and it’s beautiful outside. Hell, you could even wear a Speedo to the beach, and if I had the body the guys in these photos have, I’dĀ wear a Speedo today. šŸ˜‰

speedo blackSadly, I don’t have such a body, but I can always fantasize, can’t I?

In about an hour I will meet my boyfriend on his law school campus for lunch. Then I’ll drive him to the airport in Tampa for his flight to L.A.

After I drop him off, I’ll visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming. I have a slew of errands to run after the “Y”, and then I’ll head home.

I don’t know what I’ll do with my evening. Maybe I’ll have a drink or two with my neighbor and then we’ll go out for dinner. I don’t feel like spending the evening alone, so maybe I’ll do that. I may spend a little time on our new observation deck since the weather is so nice today. And who knows, maybe some guy with a nice body will cruise by here in a Speedo. I can always dream, right?

Have a nice Friday, everyone.

  1. Wow …. what great pics. They BOTH certainly brightened my day. ha ha

The first guy I saw in a Speedo was Mark Spitz. Of those of you out there that have never heard of his name, you’ll just have to Google it. He was the “Deal” when I was growing up and everyone in the world knew who he was.

I’ve also been to Europe many times and not only are the men comfortable with their bodies, they are comfortable with each other. It’s nothing to see a couple of friends with their arms around each other (straight friends) paling around and showing each other affection without the fear of what someone else thinks.

Thanks again for the inspiration you send through pictures and words.

    • Hi, Larry:

I remember Spitz’ famous photo in his red-white-and-blue Speedo with all those gold medals hanging around his neck. Yeah, European men are much more confidant of the masculinity than men in the U.S.; it’s too bad American men are so uptight about their bodies. Thanks for writing. I’m glad you enjoy my site.
