The term “on the fence” usually means a person is undecided about something, be it a political question, a matter of lover, or some other choice that must be made. Anyway, I don’t know if the two young men in today’s photo posts are pondering a choice they have to make, but they sure look cute, perched on those fences. 🙂
I was up early this morning, around 7:30. I swallowed my vitamins and put on a t-shirt and shorts, and then I headed for the beach. It was beautiful down there: sunny, still and dry. Lots of seabirds populated the shore. I walked my usual three miles, and then I returned home for breakfast. I spent 2-1/2 hours writing new material for my novel-in-progress, and now it’s a little past eleven AM. I have a few household chores to attend to, nothing major.
In about a half-hour I’ll drive into town for my every-six-months dental cleaning appointment. It’s never fun, but I love my dentist and his fun-loving hygienist, so they make it bearable.
Then I’ll return to the island to share lunch with my boyfriend. He’s working tonight, so that means I’ll be on my own. It’s okay, I’ll bake some fish for dinner and maybe make a fruit salad. I’ll edit the work I did this morning,a d also edit another book that’s in the works, so I will stay busy. The wind’s blowing kinda hard here today, so maybe after lunch I’ll take another long walk, here on the island. It’s all good.
Have a nice Thursday, everyone.
