Nice quote from Albert Camus; it’s time to party and play music ….

lover boys #21Hi, friends and readers:

I just came across the coolest quote from French philosopher Albert Camus, a Nobel Prize-winning writer. He said:

Don’t walk behind me; I may not lead. Don’t walk in front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend.

Isn’t that nice?

I remember reading Camus’ book The Stranger during college. He certainly had a different way of viewing the world, but I liked his writing.

It’s always great to walk beside a friend, isn’t it? And it’s even better to walk beside your boyfriend, hand-in-hand. You still don’t see much of that in Florida, but it’s going to get more common in the days ahead, I’m sure.

I’m home form the YMCA and my errand-running. In about 90 minutes my boyfriend and I will walk down the street to our neighborhood party. I’d better not drink too much between now and then because I need to perform well with my guitar. I already warmed up my vocal cords while driving in the car so no one would hear me. Clever, eh? 😉

Have a great Friday night, friends.
