A few weeks ago I posted a few drawings by artist Paulo Galvin. People liked them, so I thought I’d put up a few more today. Galvin’s works are intensely erotic and sometimes a bit kinky. Check out the one to the left, where the older guy is shaving his boyfriend’s armpit hair away. In certain relationships, this is a sign of submission on the boyfriend’s part. I think it’s a very special piece. Do you agree?
I woke at six this morning. With all the sleep I got Sunday night and Monday morning, I felt restless, so I got up. Of course with the time change it was dark outside, so I made a quick breakfast and brewed a pot of coffee. Then I got busy on my novel-in-progress, which is finally drawing to a close. At 127,000 words, it’s a lengthy book with a multitude of characters and conflicts. This, of course, is simply the first draft. It’ll be months before I finish re-writes and submit it to a publishing house. But I think it will be a very fine book when finished.
Outside, it’s a beautiful, late winter day, here in central Florida. The sun is shining and the temperature is around 73 degrees F. Okay, there’s a steady breeze blowing at present, but I am hopeful it will die off around one PM so I can ride my bike fourteen miles, here on the island. I don’t like riding when the wind is blowing; it turns cycling into work, and who needs that?
I’ll hit the supermarket late this afternoon, to re-stock our fridge and cupboards with necessaries, and I’ll also buy some fresh fish for our dinner tonight. My boyfriend’s not working tonight and his study load won’t be too much today, so maybe we can watch a Netflix rental and relax on the sofa.
Oh, if you want to check out Galvin’s art, here’s a link: http://paulogalvinart.tumblr.com/archive And fair warning: a lot of his work is X-rated. Proceed with caution.
Have a nice Tuesday, everyone.
