I’ve never attended a diving competition, but after looking at today’s photo posts I think I probably should. Divers have such sleek bodies, and they look great in their Speedos. Of course my favorite diver is British Olympic medalist Tom Daley, who is now fully out of the closet. Go, Tom!
It’s been an easy day for me so far. After I shared lunch with my boyfriend I visited the YMCA for a full workout and lap-swimming, my first visit there since in over a week. It felt good to get back in my regular groove after spending all of last week on the road, first in Brevard County and then at my friend’s place near Ocala.
I always enjoy travel of any kind; it’s so enriching to experience new places. But it’s also nice to come home and get back into my usual routines of exercise and writing fiction. I did skip my morning walk on the beach because I slept in late, but that’s okay.
Check out the diver to the left. Doesn’t he look great in his green Speedo? I wonder what his name is and where he lives? I’m guessing he’s . . . Peter from La Jolla, CA. He doesn’t have a boyfriend, but he’s thinking about finding one after diving season ends. Do you think he’ll have any trouble attracting one? Not if he parades around in that Speedo, he won’t. 😉
Speaking of boyfriends, mine just got home and I just opened a cold beer to enjoy while I write this post. He has to study this evening while I will work on edits on my novel-in-progress. Not a very exciting night, I suppose, but again, it’s good to get back into our routines.
I want to than everyone who has stopped by this site lately; my visits numbers are way up, and so are my book sales, and that I am grateful for. Have a wonderful Monday, everyone.
