Here in Florida we wear sunglasses most every day when we’re outside. Especially those of us who live on the coast, where the glare off the Gulf or the Atlantic is especially bright.
I think sunglasses lend a bit of mystery to a young man’s appearance. You never know exactly what he’s looking at. In fact, it’s much harder t know what’s on his mind because part of his facial expression is concealed. Anyway, I think the guys in today’s photo posts look great in their sunglasses, don’t you?
It’s Saturday morning at 8:30 and I have already been up for a half-hour. Outside it’s kind of chilly and very windy. A cold front has swept through Florida and it’s supposed to be cool all weekend. I don’t mind; summer will be here soon enough.
In a few hours, I plan to load up the Element with my travel stuff, and then I’ll drive northward for about 150 m iles to visit my friend who lives in the countryside near Ocala. I stayed with him last weekend and when I left I forgot to take my guitar, which I like to play regularly. So I am going back to retrieve the guitar and to hang with my friend for a couple of nights. It’s not a bad drive, really, and he’s a great person to spend time with, so it’ll be fun. We’ll probably do some hiking or canoeing while I’m up there, and maybe do a bit of drinking as well. 🙂
Okay, friends, I probably won’t post again until Monday afternoon,, so I will wish all of you a pleasant weekend. And don’t forget to wear your sunglasses.
