I like the way a ball cap looks on an attractive young man. It lends and air of irreverence to his appearance, I think, and I sure like the way the two guys in today’s photo posts look in theirs. Have a look at the boy to the left. What do you suppose is one his mind? Perhaps he’s thinking about meeting up with his boyfriend for a bit of intimacy, later in the day? Yeah, I’m an optimist, first and foremost, and what’s wrong with that?
I rose around 8:30 this morning, just after my boyfriend left for his classes, and I was simply too lazy to walk on the beach this morning. So, I got busy editing one of my novels, and that took up most of the morning. I took the time to do a crossword puzzle a one point, and that’s about all I accomplished. Now it’s almost 11:30, and I have much to do this afternoon.
I participated in a book giveaway as part of a blog tour I just finished involving publication of my latest Young Adult novel, and now I need to mail out ten print copies of the book as prizes in the giveaway. That means a trip to the post office at the north end of our island.
After the post office, I will visit a friend in a nursing home, where she’s recovering from an illness, and then I have to visit the supermarket. I’m hosting friends for dinner tomorrow night. I’m also spending four nights at my old fishing camp with one of my oldest friends who owns the property. It’s going to be fun, but I need to buy food, beer, and wine for the trip. So, I’ll be running around a lot.
My boyfriend is working tonight, so I’ll be on my own for dinner, and that’s okay. After all the company we’ve had over the past days, I’m ready for a little alone time. Have a nice Tuesday, everyone.
