I like photos of sexy guys waking up in the morning. They take me back to my younger, more promiscuous days when I’d go home with someone I’d et at a bar, and then the next morning I’d wake in his bed with sunlight streaming through the windows. Of course, there was often that awkward moment when I’d ask myself, “What’s his name? Come on, you can remember ….”
Well, that was a long time ago, and I am fine with being partnered. I like waking to my boyfriend every morning, especially when we have time to do a but of snuggling before we begin our day. Who cares about stale breath and messy hair?
My first physical therapy session went well today. The therapist was very nice and knowledgeable, and she will design a regimen for me that will get me back to the life I once had before all these knee problems began. I rode a stationary bike for ten minutes, the first real exercise I’ve had in about six weeks, and it left my knees a bit sore, but it still felt good to move my bones and muscles again.
My boyfriend is celebrating his excellent grades from last semester right now, at a happy hour someplace in Tampa. Once again, he’s at the top of his class. He’ll be home soon enough, and then we’ll prepare that homemade pizza I mentioned in this morning’s post. We have a Netflix rental to watch, a gay-themed movie titled Boys. Since it involves track and field, a since I like anything to do with running, I think I’ll like the film a lot. Right now I am sipping from a cold beer and just enjoying this easy evening on the island.
Have a great Thursday night, friends.
